Joe’s wrong here. Dr Manhattan in the hbo series didn’t reveal himself until the final 2 episodes. The hbo version was sooo well done it’s mind blowing to dislike it. Had he watch he would have known he wanted to be normal and that’s why he lived a normal life with a wife
