3500 sounds right
Modern art, primarily painting, is, simply put, one big pile of shit. I have no problem with the paintings of great masters such as: Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Goya, Van Gogh, Dali, etc.that they are worth millions. But modern art, from Picasso to Pollock to today's art installations, is just wandering in the dark.
As an artist “modern art” repulses me.
I like the way joe thinks on this one. Ill give it $3500. Art should not have only extremely rich people that figure out how much the art is worth.
