I hated nkotb. My sister had a pillow with their faces on it which I promptly destroyed like a good big brother.
MTV went from Hero to Zero in record time. The 80's, it was fun entertainment at any hour. The VJs were cool, the music videos were varied, exciting and fresh. Fantastic format … then MTV dropped off a cliff into a valley of banal, idiotic crapola.
I’m 36 now and I remember when MTV was different- we would RUN home in elementary school just to catch TRL , but I do remember when they started showing all the reality shows 🙄 some were okay but most were cringe … when I was about 17 I was on vacay in California and they were filming an episode of Real World in a restaurant and people were FLOCKING to it – it was wild, doubtful that would happen today- but it WAS a MAGICAL time and sorry for you younger people- today just flat out sucks…. Is what it is
