People act like it's a crime to be homeless and tbh that's disgusting. You don't do anything to help the problem you just want to send them away. Want to end the crisis. 1 open up public mental and drug rehab facilities, screw off with shelters they aren't a solution. Actually build or open up housing for all not just those able to make 60k+ a year . Not only is it a cost issue, housing developers , property owners , banks etc have no rules or regulations to play by so they are legally allowed to keep raising the rent every couple months. Then employers aren't required to pay their employees an actual livable wage. So make employers and housing tycoons accountable for their fuckery don't keep bailing them out. Make a liveable wage mandatory. Create jobs, dont keep allowing all the manufacturers to use out her countries slave laborers . Then after all that's said and done realize there are some especially getting acclimated to being homeless for several years there is a good number of people that just want to stay out here. So create areas where they can camp etc and hire people to give services , security, and hold them to the laws. In California you often see homeless commit various levels of crime and they only time they are arrested is if the seriously hurt/inconvenience an important person. Like newsom had a bum jailed who threw food at him😂 but let's the homeless right outside his "office" steal , do drugs openly, and assault/harass people with no repercussions. You literally have to like murder someone or steal rich peoples catalytic converters to go to jail. And from housed people to homeless we got to hold them accountable for crimes they commit.
