Esther…what courage!
Ahaz could've asked God to reunify the northern ten tribes with Judah as it was under David and Solomon.
Every group or Christian denomination that practices idolatry always seems to twist the definition of what God says idolatry is. There are only two things that God describes as idolatry, Images and statues made by man and the love money. That is to say greed.
However, most churches always seem to feel the need to have crosses or statues in front of the congregation and everyone bows before them. And, therefore breaking the second commandment.
It is not necessary to have crosses or images of any kind in order to serve God. And for this reason, they are forced to lie about what idolatry really is.
