>has a horrible family story because of a stupid religion
>converts to that religion, tries to justify that behaviour
Then you wonder why 1939 happens

I am supposed to be the executor of my Father's will. However the final activation signiture will not be added til my Dad knows that I go to church, believe, and have a relationship with God. Should I go to church occasionally and pretend that I believe in what they are preaching to assure future financial security? Or do I be honest, and try to explain that I simply don't believe that God is real? Do I disservice myself? Or do I disservice my Father by pretending to be what he wanted me to be?
PREDICAMENT. DIFFICULT.
Please get Eric and Bret Weinstein back on. Bret's story about elongated telomeres in lab mice and the suppression of his research has far-reaching consequences.
I would argue that religion makes people think they are more important than they actually are, and think the world does “revolve around them” so to speak. While religion connects you to others of the same, it separates you from anyone with different beliefs, and keeps you confined to one way of thinking, to where you can’t see outside of the box you’ve created.
