This is interesting but misleading. You quoted John 1 speaking of the logos and you tied it to the sword of the Spirit. The written scripture (logos) was also implied in Jesus statement about not living by bread alone but by every word from the mouth of God. This verse and the sword of the Spirit verse in Ephesians use the word rhema as "word". Rhema is typically understood as the spoken word of God, not the written. It is also personal and specific to the situation. The sword of the Spirit is the RHEMA of God, not the logos. This distinction makes a big difference in how we understand and apply it. A couple of other significant places the word RHEMA is used are John 15, Jesus said, if you abide in me and My rhema abides in you, you will ask and it will be done. Also Romans 10, faith comes by hearing the RHEMA of God. Very important distinction between written, general words and spoken, specific words. Blessings.
