There’s all kind of ideas that you “shouldn’t have fun with” or “shouldn’t find funny” Like someone were to make the joke that a certain race minority was subhuman. To say (blank) people are just animals, and laughing at the reinforcement of harmful ideologies, is part of the issue here. It’s okay to make jokes for sure, but there clearly is not a “all jokes are fair game” rule universally. I think that people should look into the undertones of what dehumanizing things Dave is saying about trans people, and how it pushes against the equality of trans people. But I mean Joe Rogan clearly knows everything about everything… he did do fear factor afterall…
Just relax people and enjoy life, stop being offended over everything. I like Dave Chappelles jokes and I am offended at all. Too many people that want to complain about something. Lets start laughing at ourselves.
I had my friend last night tell me that jokes should not be allowed for the trans/gay community cause if a person is repressed and thus in bad taste. I look at him and I’m just like: what?
