  1. I have adhd as well and I find as an adult I what I feel I struggle with most, is fear. I’m aware of my lack of motivation but if I’m under a constant state of fear, I tend to use it as a coping mechanism. But the biproduct of that is anxiety and panic attacks. I bet if I check my cortisol levels it would be borderline stroke territory. I’m under constant emotional distress. Lack of self esteem and caring what I look like is the worst. It’s like I have an emotional tank that is trying to take a cross country trip with half the capacity that other people have. I can only go halfway before having to refuel again.
