I think that he knows more about Lyme, but he didn't say much and when Joe tried to push him he got uncomfortable.

They are sick as a result of lyme call it what you want just treat it.
It's irresponsible to discount their illness like 99 % of medical community unless they have the answer from science.
I fundamentally disagree with this guy's assessment that chronic lyme disease syndroms are autoimmune problems. Observing my own medical history with lyme Im convinced that borrelia simply are capable of hiding in the body so antibiotics don't reach them. My medical history is long – currently suffering from a recurrent uveitis (2nd time after first one 8 months ago) – and I believe I have had borrelia in my body for about 30 years. Funny enough they don't talk about such cases, it's usually days, weeks, months or even years. So what about decades? And make no mistake, it's highly probably that they can be sexually transmitted, so the obsessive focus on ticks clouds the real problem. So what IS the real problem? Well, it's that lyme is much more common than we think and many many people have it without knowing it. In young years our immune system keeps them in check, in the 30 and 40s first 'weird' symptoms, here and there pop up, but still all unsuspecting. Then in our 50s and 60s when our immune system is weak and the borrelia have had 20-30 years to expand in the body, that's when bad illnesses break out. It's very interesting to observe, borrelia travel along the nerves and into the joints, they are in the lower back and travel up the spine and into the face. This is how they move in the body. During my worst flare up, I had them pulsating in these spots simultaneously. In this way and when they have been in the body for so long, they cause neurodegenerative diseases (dementia a.o.) but also arthrose and arthritis in the joints. Many old people who have these illnesses, have carried borrelia in their body for most of their life, without knowing it. JMO
