Loads of people attributing what this lad said to the entirety of COVID 19, he was literally talking about the first winter and how it would progress in the early existence, and in that he was pretty much correct.
Viruses that infect and kill that many don't scale over time on the same level in terms of deaths, people are basically saying there hasn't been an apocalypse so he is wrong. Viruses cant survive if they do that, so you still get infections, but less severe strains over time. In the early stages vaccines are important to stop deaths, this guy even said masks were silly in the early stages, right about that too.
Would I be surprised if companies were still pushing vaccines/masks etc to accumulate their money back now, no I would not, but that doesn't make this lad incorrect and a shill.
