Cane toads make good pets.
Well they cant exterminate the things but their is an option, its not the best option but might be the only one. They introduced Cane Toads to Florida in 1930 by accident but we already had a cousin species the American toad thats just a bit smaller so the Cane Toad was unable to expand out of Florida and is still regulated to the sw coatline of the state in limited numbers. Because we have Garter Snakes who are totally immune to Cane Toad venom and eat them like snacks. There are also a few more natural predators the smaller and mildly venomous Cat Eyed snake eats them but is smaller and and egg layer. But Australian snakes as deadly as they are lack the immunity to Cane Toad venom but Garters are no threat to humans or even housepets and their diet consists mainly of the invasive species in Australia.
