There’s a million things to critique about the show. It really died when Frank Darabont left. Scott Gimple was an awful show runner. One of the things that always bothered me is that they never had anyone advise them on firearms – and it really shows, and bothers the hell out of me.
i don't get the criticism of 'torture porn' in a show about ZOMBIES and people being EATEN. If anything the show DIDN'T have enough of that in the later seasons.
Just 43 seconds in and joe is completely wrong on things already…
Daryl always picks up his arrows after killing a walker, if an arrow breaks he can make another.
The walkers decay which is why they get stabbed in the head so easily.
Edit: Glenn was always planned to die and the actor wanted to leave.
In the later seasons, they had no color grading, the edits were horrible, and all the gun play was so cringey. It’s like after season 5 they didn’t care.
The show got too woke for me. It was just chicks bossing dudes around every scene.
