Joe was a massive asshole in this interview. I can't believe I didn't catch on to this the first time I listened to it when it aired, probably because I used it as background noise while I worked out and only gave it half my attention. But seriously, the constant petty jabs, putting down of Hugo's craft and gaming in general was hard to listen to. This idea that playing games is a waste of time is ridiculous, everyone has a different idea of recreational activity, for some it may be camping or fishing for others it might be binging T.V shows or playing video games. I'm not trying to insinuate that addiction to gaming isn't real, but almost ANYTHING can be addicting if people enjoy it enough, I mean maybe podcasting is a massive waste or time? Or UFC? Or how bout Joe's dead end stand up comedy career that's been DOA ever since he started?
Personally I'm a big fan of Hugo, He and his team did a fantastic job with Doom Eternal, its what Doom would have been if it had been conceptualized today instead of the early 1990s, clearly he's a real fan and did it justice. Joe ''I used to be addicted to Quake'' Rogan needs to shut the fuck up and be more respectful of peoples hard work, even if he deems it a waste of time.

Huge respect to Hugo for holding in while Joe was just nagging on games at every opportunity. it is almost as he is trying to convince himself about what he says with the amount he repeats it.
I want to watch joe have conversations with random people he meets on the street instead.
