  1. Made me really think as she was describing the SCOTUS decisions from the 1800s….
    These laws and cases read like British legal language.

    The founders wrote the declaration explicitly outlining why a federal type top down monarchical judicial system doesn't work and instead serves as the tool for the tyrant…

    The declaration tells us that when a government gets to this level of oppressive laws then it is the people's right to overthrow that gov.
    Not as a coup or revolution regime change (they already fought and won to prove that right is forever true) but by using the system to correct itself and bring itself back in line with the original principles and ethics.

    The government is an empty vessel. It can be filled with aristocratic elites that desire their own preservation or with those who understand that all men are created equal and deserve equal protections.
    Not one should be the only occupier but mix of people who oppose but will find common ground while maintaining the rule that no government can make any law which prohibits the rights of the individual.

  2. This should be used in schools as an example of great and humble conversation with 2 people who come from different educations and lives but who both have the maturity to see and seek the commonality between them.
