The reason you never see anyone in an argument on social media agreeing with each other. Is because there are 3 types of arguments: 1. Argument from emotion (You're mean and people are suffering and that's more important than whether something is true) 2. Argument from what you'd like to be true because you imagine it'll improve the world (idealistic thinking, hypotheticals, often impractical or impossible because most people won't live up to your standards or your ideal is dumb to begin with) 3. Statistics, averages, evidence. (Which always is unpleasant because most people fall into the average category by definition)
Which ever one of these three you choose, in your mind you'll be right in a way. Of course the only correct option is the third one, but that one will piss most people off.
