The P.T. Barnum of the automotive industry? Musk is certainly the bearer of the title now. He's falsely marketed a toy for elitists as a form of environmental salvation, despite the gross misuse of rare earth metals and the associated pollution; open pit mines, unrecyclable batteries, toxic runoff etc. And he's duped the tax payers into subsidising a virtue signaling rubric that'd have financially collapsed otherwise!

Lotus continually prove that lightweight wins, less weight equals less for the suspension to do, less for the brakes to do, less power required to go fast. They’ve never really made big cars, they’ve made nimble, quick little cars for British B-Roads or tracks, they simply aren’t designed for the sort of driving that most people do. There’s a good reason that Mazda took an Elan, inspected it down to the last bolt, took the best attributes and then designed the MX-5 (Miata) which is pretty much the best small convertible built in the past 20 years. There’s not much can match the MX-5 as far as cash per smiles goes. Lotus still produce several models, these two are clearly talking from a position of opinion rather than knowledge, that makes their opinions pretty much null and void.
Why do people who are uninformed on shit or talking shit on things they dont like, Lotus is a great company who left their mark in F1 history and to this day makes fantastic vehicles (btw i make electronics for them)
