Model T used hemp fiber for the interior cloth. Restoring one to perfection is difficult because reproduction cloth is burlap and it's wrong. I know this from restoring several old cars,the oldest being a 1918 model T truck. (Think Beverley hillbillies truck,very similar)
I like how when Joe gets confronted with evidence of him being wrong he immediately asks "well how does he know that?" Yet didn't feel that it was necessary to ask that from the guy who told him the bullshit Ford story. I fuckin hate how ppl act like weed is so magical. There's lighter materials, cheaper materials, stronger materials, more durable materials, things that are easier to work with and shape and manufacture. it was made from Steel Frame and Plastic Panels.
the Plastic was made from Wheat, Flax, Hemp and ramie.
today we can do Better with Plastic combined with KEVLAR fibers mixed in.
Modern cameras are made of Plastic with Synthetic fibers mixed in to make them Tough and Watertight.
