3. Of the dreams that King Nebuchadnezzar saw in about 606 B.C.E., the "second year of his kingship" over the two tribe kingdom of Judah (Dan 2:1), here is what it meant. At Daniel 2:28, after praying intensely to God, whose name is Jehovah (see Isa 12:2, KJV) for the dream and its meaning during the night (Dan 2:17-23), the next day, Daniel tells King Nebuchadnezzar that "none of the wise men, conjurers, magic-practicing priests, or astrologers are able to tell the king the secret that he is asking. But there is a God in the heavens who is a Revealer of secrets, and he has made known to King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar what is to happen in the FINAL PART of the days. This is your dream, and these are the visions of your head as you lay on your bed."(Dan 2:27, 28)

   Daniel further says to Nebuchadnezzar: "As for you, O king, on your bed your thoughts turned to what is to take place in the FUTURE, and the Revealer of secrets has made known to you what is to happen."(Dan 2:29) So, first off, what is "the final part of the days" that was yet future ? This is the time period from the crowning of Jesus as king of God's Kingdom in 1914 (Dan 7:13, 14; Rev 6:1, 2) forward up through Armageddon, "the war of the great day of God the Almighty".(Rev 16:14, 16)

   At Daniel 2:31-33, Daniel says that Nebuchadnezzar saw "an immense image" that was "huge and extremely bright", and "its appearance was terrifying", with its head of "fine gold", its chest and arms of silver, its abdomen and thighs of copper, legs of iron, and its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.

   Then Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar that "you looked on (in the dreams) until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them. At that time the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold were, all together, crushed and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floor, and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth."(Dan 2:34-35)

   Daniel now explains what each part means: "This is the dream, and we will now tell the king its interpretation. You, O king—the king of kings to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the might, the strength, and the glory, and into whose hand he has given men wherever they may dwell, as well as the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and whom he has made ruler over all of them—you yourself are the head of gold."(Dan 2:36, 37)

   So, ancient Babylon was "the head of gold" as the third world power of Bible history.(Note: the first two were Egypt and then Assyria, see Isa 52:4) It's rulership as world power lasted from 645-539 B.C.E., when the next world power took down ancient Babylon, Medo-Persia on October 5/6, 539 B.C.E., for Daniel now says: "But after you another kingdom (of Medo-Persia) will rise, inferior to you (that went from 539-331 B.C.E.); then another kingdom, a third one (Greece, that started with Alexander the Great, who ruled from 336-323 B.C.E., and was followed by four of his generals fighting among themselves for control of the empire, that split into four "kingdoms", and ended in 30 B.C.E.), of copper, that will rule over the whole earth."(Dan 2:39)

   Daniel further says: "As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. For just as iron crushes and pulverizes everything else, yes, like iron that shatters, it will crush and shatter all of these."(Dan 2:40) Who followed ancient Greece as the next world power ? Ancient Rome, when it took over the Ptolemaic dynasty of Egypt in 30 B.C.E., as the last remaining vestige of Greece, until it fell in 476 C.E to German warlord, Odoacer.

   But with Daniel 2:41-43, we now arrive to "the final part of the days", our time frame that started in 1914, and in which verse 41 says: "And just as you saw the feet and the toes to be partly of clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with soft clay".

   So, what is the "feet and toes of partly iron and partly of clay" ? The 7th and last world power of both secular and Bible history, the Anglo/American world power, whereby the United States takes center stage on the world scene.(see Rev 17:9, 10)

   And what is the meaning of this "kingdom" being a mixture of iron and soft clay, for verse 42 states: "And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile." Though both Britain and the United States are established "kingdoms" with some clout, they are also "fragile", and especially why ?

   Verse 43 answers it this way: "Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people; but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay." Because the "people" have a powerful say in the government through its elected representatives and are unstable, easily swayed in this or that direction, like "soft clay" that can easily be changed, as in the United States as well as Britain with its "people", such as the new election of Liz Truss as Prime Minister, and of which this is the fourth change of government without an election in six years, showing that "they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay."

   The United States is just as "fragile", with its divisive "iron mixed with soft clay" government, with infighting between Republicans and Democrats, being "mixed with the people" who weaken it considerably because of constant bickering and arguing, so that it cannot be like ancient Rome, with its "legs of iron", working in unity and able to crush anyone whom it wants to.

   We now reach Daniel 2:44, 45, that says: "In the days of those kings (or during the "reign" of the Anglo/American world power, which is now) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom (or heavenly government called God's Kingdom, see Matt 6:10) that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will CRUSH and put an end to all these kingdoms (of the Anglo/American world power, along with the rest of the political system with its supporters, see Rev 19:19-21), and it alone will stand forever, just as you saw that out of the mountain (or Jehovah's universal sovereignty) a stone (God's Kingdom) was cut not by hands (or not through politics), and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy."

   So, in the near future, the entire political system with its last world power of the United States/Britain, that is a creation of "the dragon", Satan the Devil from "the sea" or the restless, radical, unstable masses of mankind (Rev 13:1, 2; see Isa 17:12; 57:20, 21), will see its demise ("crushed") at "the war of the great day of God the Almighty", called Armageddon by means of God's Kingdom.(Rev 16:14, 16)
