Some people who smile a lot aren't the friendliest, give them the opportunity and the confidence to know they can get away with torture and they'd consider it. Pacquiao seems to be one of those few people. Just remember he came up from the streets, not western streets where at least you have more choices, this is a lot more harsh. Having one small rice bowl a day, everyday going to sleep hungry, believe me, he probably had to do brutal things to other people to be alive and by smiling he's by no means putting on a show or a facade. That's just the way some of these guys are the same way some animals like chimps seem happy and playful, but given the opportunity they'd rip you apart.
One thing I learned about boxing, aside from Olympics, I have noticed and experience as amateur, there is no such thing as relating yourself as countryman. People will like you as a boxer and most importantly, like you as a person and who you really are!
Joe should really bring Pacquiao on.
