Jacob and his mother lied and were very deceitful. This isn’t my favorite biblical story, I must say. It seems like deceit was gratified. Why couldn’t Jacob and his mother just be honest and have honest ways?
Lean not on your own understanding, right? And God will have mercy and lift up who he chooses. He had mercy on me and I was one of the most wicked people I know before I came to Christ.
