Indeed, Jesus died, to pay the wages of the sins of the world. He was buried, the grave held Him fast, as it does to everything sown into it, He cried to the Father, Psalm 18; 22, the Father broke all physical protocols and stretched out His Right Arm of Power, to gird Him with strength to break the power of the grave, then the graves were opened Matthew 27:51-52, He went straight to get the power of hell and death from the devil Hebrews 2:14-15, He commanded the everlasting gates to be lifted Isaiah 14:17, He entered, with His righteosness, and set free the prisoners- those that died from Abel, to Abraham, to the thief on His right hand on the cross, setting captivity captive! The demons began to flee and hide from Him, but He prevailed against them, and they began to cry to God, but He wouldn't hear them Proverbs 1:28; He crushed the devil and his minions under His feet, rose again from the dead, and took the risen saints to God, as His first fruits, and they were given their glorious body. They got out of their graves, and were seen by many. Abraham was able to finally see and walk on the promised land, he has only believed, and seen simply by faith in God's word! Now His word has become flesh for him! None of His word will ever go back to Him void! He is Faithful and True!
The story of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is not complete without His burial!
That was why He could say "All power in heaven and in earth has been given to me", and we then can go in this grace to preach the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in His death, burial and resurrection! Matthew 28:18; Philippians 2:10.
Believers must die to the flesh to have Him in them, baptized into Him by His Holy Spirit, Galatians 3:27; Romans 6:3-11; Ephesians 1:13. He can quicken their bodies, change them to be like His, and place them into His body, as members of His body, He being the Head, and He will go present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy on that day! Praise the Lord!
