I have very many issues with this interpretation of Jacob’s life.
Please start placing time stamps and Bible verse and chapter stamps on these.
Divination would become a sin punishable by stoning under the law of Moses.
Heathens know when a power greater than their’s is present in the life of a believer.
Jacob never used divination. He encountered GOD ALMIGHTY through dreams and visions. He served the God of His Fathers.
Prophecy is a gift of and from God divination is a demonic copy cat. Don’t get that mixed up.
I think it is important to not mix up the two or put a blanket over all abilities or gifts to see in the spirit. We must rightly divide the word of truth and find and show context for the meanings of those words.
Divination wasn’t used in most translation and simply means vision.
God would often appear to non believers throughout scripture and that is not divination in the sense that we know it today.
God will not use darkness to reveal Himself. In Him there is no shadow of turning.
The Bible does not explicitly imply that Jacob use selective breeding techniques. If anything the Bible implies that no matter what channel is Jacob was in God calls him to prosper regardless.
The Bible implies that Jacob had the worst animals and was able to caused himself to prosper and the animals to prosper that’s more in line with scripture God using a little and making a lot
