A lot of people ignore the fact that Royce Gracie was a 3rd dan black belt in Judo back in early UFC. Thats more Judo than many instructors. Early UFC wasnt BJJ vs other arts. It was MMA vs single art martial artists. BJJ is better than I used to think, but it's a very good add on to a more useful art like boxing or wrestling.
Listen just look up Kosen Shimewaza. You'll thank me later.

just do real ju jutsu, you are covered in Nage-Waza, Ukemi-Waza, Ne-Waza. 😅
Some guys here in Brazil claim (with some quite well documented facts, by the way) that what we call “BJJ” was, in fact, the best kept secret of judo old school fighters (i.e. japanese people), “borrowed” by Brazilian BJJ pioneers. So, yes, It’s really a good idea for BJJ fighters improving their judo skills.
