King Henry the eighth killed six out of his eight wives, because he claimed that he was living in sin when he married his first wife, because she was first engaged to his older brother, who passed away. I find it annoying how that verse has been skewed by men in order for them to exert their power. It’s sad that both John and Salome were the two innocence in the story and yet that is not how the story has been conveyed throughout history.
