  1. I live in Ky. and I lived and saw the Oxy-express first hand. I had a lot of friends who died as children and are still dying today. Luckily I’ve been clean for over 9 years. Purdue Pharma lied to the people of Appalachia for over 20 years before the owners ever got in any trouble. Now that’s big Pharma truly at work. A billion dollar a year pain pill company allowed to sell for over 20 years before really being regulated… Cough cough corruption…

  2. The Pharma Companies have nothing to do with the crisis because drugs don't cause addiction.

Dr. Lonny Shavelson found that 70% of female heroin addicts were sexually abused in childhood.
Addiction is a symptom of PTSD says Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine Eric Kandel in his book, "The Disordered Mind."

  3. Lot of disinformation and confusion about this subject, the opiate crisis has not so much to do with prescription pills as it does illegal opiates mainly illicit fetynal and percocets, they crack down so hard that pain patients are now under prescribed and suffering do to this confusion, there is a epidemic of recreational use of Percocet but overdosing barely ever happens on pills and when it does it’s usually pills mixed with other types of drugs or alcohol. The overdoses happen strictly off of illegal opiates and most drug users didn’t start with prescription usage as they make it seem so they are making pain patients suffer for nothing while the actual opiate crisis worsens smfh
