As a result of having read – Mortal Error : The Shot That Killed JFK by Bonar Menninger – I reached the reasonable conclusion that the relevant shot was the last and that it most likely was indeed 5.56mm and NOT 6mm in diameter as the others were… but from behind. This seems to be just the thing that altering the Zapruder film intended, in obscuring the frontal shot or shots. An analysis of the lead fragments that conveniently disappeared later which were taken from the head wound would have been definitive, and needed to vanish. At the very least it is a very reasonably credible element of the conspiracy. Great discussion, thanks. Further review is so needed. Myself included.
The two men one floor below said ceiling dust fell on them when the shots were fired so I looked at lee Harvey Oswald booking photo for dust particles in his hair. Has anyone ever considered this?
