Just a thought about Exodus 13: 6-9….. If this account is a physical representation of something spiritual [do not eat leaven bread for 7 days, then there is a feast to YHWH at the end) and as verse 9 says it will be a sign unto us on our hand and a memorial between our eyes (action and thought?) for the purpose of YHWH's Word being in our mouth (from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks)] Then after Yeshua became our Passover lamb (and his words are spirit and life…) then doesn't it seem that when we "celebrate" Passover today then what we really should be focusing on for that week is not "feasting" on leaven….that is to say, sin. For if we do as verse 9 says then HIS Law will be in our thoughts and our actions will show it and our mouth will speaks it, and we will know that we love Yah as it says in 1 John. This sounds like a great time for a "wedding" with a bride dressed in white. A week where we actually are super attentive on what sin is and we stay away from it…It is a week focusing oh HIS ways, HIS Laws, HIS commandments…on HIM. Seems like great practice for our lives the rest of the year too. As a military guy it reminds me of various types of training before we go to war. This is how we do, what it looks like, etc….now go do it. Don't know about you guys but a week of practicing purity and holiness sounds like a great idea! (not that we haven't sinned, because we all have. We are drawing closer to Him then resting in his presence on that 7th day) I wonder what would happen if we all did this…. thoughts?
