  1. Seed oils are terrible for you. They literally they have to go through a intense process before you can even consume them. The RBD process is refined, bleached and then deodorized. How appetizing does that sound. They also used to use these oils in vehicles and machinery before they were like "Hey, it works in machinery. Let's try it in Humans." It's literally poison.

Lard, Taloe, Butter, Avocado oil but above all, Extra virgin Olive oil is the way to go.

  2. I've been cooking and placing food orders with wholesalers for a long time. Pre-pandemic I would see 'backorder' every few months on some random rare product like fig jelly. For the past year I've been seeing 'backorder' on a weekly basis on really regular staple foods. Last summer we couldn't get single portioned peanut butter for about six weeks. A few weeks ago we couldn't get turnips one week – turnips! Large scallops are hard to find, veggie burgers went missing for a few weeks (didn't break my heart), condensed mushroom soup was b/o for over a month, and at one point I couldn't get regular button mushrooms for 2 weeks (I assume the mushroom soup people bought them all up trying to catch up). I don't think we're out of food yet, but the supply chain is certainly messed up.
