It seems pretty clear to me that Paul did not say Gentiles were to come in and subject themselves to the law but subject themselves to faith and the law was that sin would be revealed and would abound, but our "death" in Jesus has freed us from sin and we are to walk in faith, not by orders and commands of a law which no one can obey fully (Jesus was the only one to ever do so) and so one will continue to sin.
Abraham was said to be counted righteous because of his faith in a promise, not because of works of the law or because of the physical circumcision which came after.
Im still debating this because I see the point of those that say when God says to do something forever, that means forever. I just dont feel in my spirit that taking part in the Mosaic law festivals and coming under the law like food requirements..etc is what is going to get me closer to Yeshua, but like Paul said its your faith in him and the circumcision of your heart, not any work of law that justifies us.
But then I wonder, are the festivals of God and the Sabbath not considered requirements within the Mosaic Law only, but are these requirements of God to remain forever while the law of Moses, which was to show sin, is to be left in favor of a greater law, the new covenant, the law of the Christ
