  1. The reason for changing the capital of The Roman Empire was because Constantinople was more of a center to the whole empire all of the trade that existed passed from there and the expansion was to east of the nation and that's only one reason. Fun thing is that Britania was considered a backwater region even thought it changed to be the biggest trade center when the other continents were discovered.

  2. The gold the Spanish took from those colonies was brought 20% of it to use as resources to pay the military campaigns + other things as health care building of universities and materials to replenish and create new tools, houses, fortifications etc… The 80% supposedly was used in the American colonies to build churches, hospitals to treat the Spanish people (counting both natives and Iberians under the crown) that travelled there to live their lives and universities where the Spanish people could learn culture and different qualities. I believe in this because for many many years, Mexico (or New Spain atm) was a global power itself (Obviously then the Habsburgs just started corruption hard and breeding too, then the fight over the Spanish throne between the Habsburgs and the Bourbons and from that point, the hatred the Spanish Empire suffered is understandable).

  3. "Spain took all the gold…", not really dude, not even the 30% of America's gold, where did it go? It was invested to build everything you see in there, plus wars etc
