Dad grew grew up in Northern Ontario in a one room house with his mother and siblings. Hunting and fishing to support themselves. He's now 80 yr old. Alone in the Wilderness is on our tv at least several times a month. Dad can't talk but he gets so excited when he puts it on and makes a deal of pointing it out to us. I remind him I've watched it about 60 times. We also have to remind him that Dick wasn't 80 yrs old when he went out there. But it doesn't matter… dad would rather die out in the wilderness than sit in the living room like a vegetable. It's amazing how many people just want to move to Alaska and get away from shit. Myself included.
Bryan is refreshingly boyishly hillarious lol. His horse rearing fantasy is adorable!
