Iv been on benzos for years had the serious withdrawals seized and only answer is more or a slow horrendous over a year long withdrawal it's a nightmare never knew JP was on them. I'm currently trying to switch down from Clonazepam to just diazepam. I can tell you all this is worse than coming off heroin.
Was prescribed methadone about 12 years ago, when I detoxed off it I hallucinated/sick/etcetera… If Xanax is worse I feel for anyone who detoxes off of them.
1 year last week off 15 years of benzos. Through God, plant medicine, exercise, plantbased diet and determination I'm healthier and look better at 40 than I did at 21. Intense psylocibin therapy and cannabis for anxiety healed my so call Severe Panic Disorder, Severe Anxiety Disorder and PTSD. Now I look at all those as weaknesses and mind frames. Praise God. 🙏🌱🍄
My big brother was the kindest and most wholehearted person i knew. Throughout all our year of growing up, we never had a single argument that i can remember. He was extremely popular, had a ton of friends, was very good looking and was well dressed at all times. I've always envied him. I talked to him the same night it happened. Everything seemed normal, and said he would love to come over to see his nephew (my son) in a few days. I was woken up at 4.30AM to my mother hysterically crying into the phone that my brother had hung himself. It was a complete shock. There was no warning, no suicide note, no explanation or anything that made sense. While going through his laptop later, i found out he had been buying Xanax (illegal here in Norway) to self-medicate. We also found a lot of empty bottles of alcohol everywhere in his apartment. I never knew the struggles he was fighting, and i wish i could just go back in time an tell him to stay away from these suicide drugs and instead get proper psychiatric care. Drugs only temporarily remove the symptoms, but when they run out, or you grow tolerant to its effects, they'll turn right around and claw your soul apart…

I've been prescribed pregablin for anxiety and its also very difficult to get off
