Congress won't figure anything out. We didn't have the supplies because we don't make anything in the US anymore. It's not because of greedy corporations but rather because of onerous regulations and taxes that disincentivize domestic industry.
I also hope that people will notice that monetary systems used today creates a lot of problems, including the fact that it is inefficient/unprepared against pandemics. I hope that people will notice that the monetary system should be changed to a resourse based economy, that was proposed by Jacque Fresco.
Lessons Learned from an after actions report can help prevent something like this from happening in the future. That’s how we took care of business in the Air Force.
