xenomorphs are kind of like human sized insects.
No worries insects only get larger if the oxygen content of the earth increases. Carboniferous era of earth O2 content was something like 30 to 40% higher then now. The era had ten foot long centipedes, hub cap size spiders, and dragonflies the size of hawks.
