the "fig tree generation" is in my opinion a erroneous teaching. Yes in the old testament God did refer to Israel as the fig tree, but when Jesus spoke of the fig tree budding he was speaking of literal fig trees! ie "when you see the trees budding you know that summer is near" in Luke 21 the same account isn't just "the fig tree" but the fig tree AND ALL THE TREES…so this for me personally means you can't interpret the fig tree parable as meaning Israel becoming a nation again = the end times generation that will see the 2nd coming. I do believe we will see it. I also think the Rev sign MAY be fulfilled on FOT 2017, but I'm not certain – especially after hearing Joel Richardsons critique of this being fulfilled on sept 2017. Hi Adam, I'm sorry that you are being scoffed at by our Christians. Jesus was scoffed as well. That just means your are on the right track. This sign has only been revealed recently because it was only for the end time body of Christ to know what it would mean.
I consider myself to be so blessed to have been given the eyes to see, and the ears to hear. An honor to have been chosen to walk the narrow path to salvation.
