Sense of shame and consideration for others. Would make the world a way better place.
When did Jordan Peterson start wearing an eye patch?
Feeling ashamed and embarrassed about being lazy, fat or whatever, unless you have some sort of medical condition causing your issues, is a good and motivating thing.
In Europe the shopping cart shit was solved like so : to unlock the cart you have to insert 1EUR coin in the slot. When you park it back you can take back your coin. No shopping carts are left in the open. Which kind of speaks volumes that the companies must force people to do a small decent thing.
I'm physically disabled (lymph edema) who is unemployed and I can feel my life wasting away. What bothers me about people leaving shopping carts behind is that they leave carts in the handicapped spaces so I have to get out of my car, grab my Walker then move the cart while still gripping my walker. I remember going food shopping during some snowfall and a young woman parked in a handicapped space even though she sprinted to the entrance while I had to park farther away and walk with my Walker to the entrance in much longer time.
