Nah, leave your trolleys in the parking lot, you are actually hurting people by putting them away yourself. Trolley attendant is one of the few jobs that people with severe disabilities or handicaps can do to earn a living, every time you put your own trolley away, the truth is you are just robbing desperately needed opportunities to help those one the bottom. I get they mentioned it in the context of self motivation and not half-assing things, but it misses the point on WHY it's actually a good thing to not be 'overly polite' to the point of harming society, it's like people who give way on the road when they already have right of way.
I really feel this victimhood shit started going mainstream when the gays started equating their "struggle" with that of the "struggle" of the blacks. Now everyone is finding ways to "understand the struggle, cuz I had it bad too" Then again, maybe it started with the old Bill Cosby joke about the parent bitchin about how they had to walk 10 miles to school uphill, both ways, idk, fuck it, I had to work today, Im going to bed but the AC is out and its hot in here and Im hungry too, dammit.
