Silurian Hypothesis ForYouTube

What if another industrial civilization had existed on Earth tens of millions of years ago, long before humans, but all traces of it have now been lost?

While it may seem like an absurd idea, this thought experiment is the focus of a new scientific paper authored by Adam Frank, an astrophysicist from the University of Rochester, and Gavin Schmidt, director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies. They have named the paper “The Silurian Hypothesis” after a fictional race of intelligent, bipedal reptiles from the British sci-fi series Doctor Who—known as the Silurians—that supposedly lived on Earth hundreds of millions of years ago.

  1. Climate change is prevalent, currently, on all planets in our solar system. All of our planets have changed dramatically in the past 20 years. Governments know this, but continue to charge US, (carbon tax), to build their coiffures.
Yes, our imprint has had an influence, but it is not the main cause. This is not the first time this has happened.

  2. Something left out of these theories is mines. Humans have created huge mines. A couple copper mines come to mind where we inverted a mountain. The large iron deposits we mind out in the Great Lakes area. This was iron that came out of the primordial oceans a billion or so years ago. Gold and silver mines that created honey combs of mountains. So either there were many of these deposits that were mined or geology has changed dramatically to form new deposits.

The Rocky Mountains were created 50 to 80 million years ago. So it's possible large metal deposits were brought up from far below. I would like to see geologist look to where mining might have been.
