I’m sure it’s somewhere else in the comments but I don’t think Joe or Jamie understood what he meant with the 3/4 die I believe he was saying it as that was the statistic before he climbed he then set up all the ropes/ essentially made a climbing foot for others to follow that was in theory probably the safest route up and down the mountain thus allowing dozens more people to also climb safely this changing the death stats from 75% down to 33% which is truly incredible

K2 is the most difficult to claim period. I have gone to Everest… not even close.
This feat is the same caliber as Alex Honnold's El Capitan freesolo.
