  1. Samson was very unwise..because how can someone who professes to love you ask your weakness, u give her the decoy twice and on both occasions they come for you doing exactly what you told her. I would have broken her neck. There is an old saying "smart for friend, stupid for girl."

  2. I've never really bought the story of Samson. Not only would he have had to have been the dumbest person in the Bible, he would have had to have been one of the most stupid people ever, period. Other disobedient people in the Bible you should do videos on are, are you ready?

First, King Saul the first, who became King Saul the last, who thought his high and holy calling as king gave him the right to offer up sacrifices in the priest’s office. And when Samuel was late for an event, Saul took it upon himself to do the honors. But when Samuel finally showed up and discovered what he, Saul, had done, he became wroth and told Saul his kingdom was at an end! Ouch! A very tragic story.

Then there's the story of Jonah the prophet, who tried to flee before GOD. He also was disobedient in the greatest fish story of the Bible! Oh, then there's the story of Balaam the non-Israelite prophet, who refused to curse Israel. He finally told King Balak of Moab how he could introduce sin amongst the sons of Israel and thereby secure the curse of the Lord.

But the most tragic of all these was undoubedly King David of Israel, the man who was after the Lord’s own heart. He lived a good life, though he shed a great deal of blood in his life. But when he shed the blood a man whose wife he desired, he finally crossed the line. The prophet Nathan declared, “The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme.”

David deserved to die, but the Lord suspended that judgment. And like other murderers, his soul would not be left in Hell, but are always eternal ramifications. In our dispensation, the Lord explained: “David’s wives and concubines were given unto him of me, by the hand of Nathan, my servant, and others of the prophets who had the keys of this power; and in none of these things did he sin against me save in the case of Uriah and his wife; and, therefore he hath fallen from his exaltation, and received his portion; and he shall not inherit them out of the world, for I gave them unto another, saith the Lord.”

I'm sure there are others, but the greatest godly man in the Bible is the one who ranks as the greatest is Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed the Lord. He was the son of perdition, of which it was written that it would have been better if a millstone had been placed about his neck and he had been drowned in the depths of the sea. Of all those in the Bible, Judas is the one I would least want to be.

  3. Dear God, there have been times when I have not called out to You when I should. Sometimes it feels so hard to wait and be patient, but I know I can trust Your promises. You hear my prayers and You know what I need. I will continue to seek You to receive Your answer. You know what I need and when I need it. O Lord, lead me in the direction you want me to go so that I may find You. In Jesus' name, amen.

  4. I LOVE this story and Samson (gifted with amazing strength). Delilah (smh); BUT WE MUST remain within (equally yoked) our nation as Israelites. Disobedience brings about punishment, which is painful in one way or another. Prayers of love and abundance to all. ❤
