Completely disagree that remote education is anywhere near the same. Discussion and social interaction with classmates is hugely important.
Also surprised he’s so cavalier about us changing social norms like shaking hands…should like forever?
Though I do agree that assessments weighing costs and benefits of the lockdown will have to be done.

At this point, the only solution for the us that doesn't involve some miraculous stimulus plan where we avoid a great depression is to go back to work. And to everyone who counters with the hospitals becoming too full, there's a very simple solution: turn away those who are unlikely to survive. Let nature truly take it's course. During polio, TB, the Spanish flu, do you know why hospitals didn't get overrun? They didn't try to ventilate people who had 10% survival rates instead of operating their ICU. Also those illnesses were far deadlier. We as a society need to accept that people will die and not try and move heaven and Earth to save them. And there's always chloroquine for those people, it seems to work (much as it pains me to admit Trump is right).
As far as AMC going under.. I saw an interview where the CEO said their expenses last year were ~$750mil and their revenue was ~$5 billion… I think they are far from going under
