a lot of feedback i get from my friends who are homeless, or have had been homeless, is that the case managers are doing a terrible job. even hospital based case managers, nurses have warned me that the case managers are lazy and not all that helpful. someone needs to be on top of these case managers to do a better job helping people on the fringes of society, and not be cold and uncaring like they are now
Won’t happen, land is owned by rich real estate investors and will not give up their land for pennies for the dollar. Now one way we can fix the problem is if we call this a national emergency and have the military to build a “base” that will provide housing for the homeless and encourage business to provide work for these people vs outsourcing. Idk I think it has to be a harsh incentive that makes people work out of their homelessness and help rehab addicts
I went to see John Witherspoon at the DC improve and my friend was drunk and a homeless guy asked him for money. he started having a conversation with him trying to tell him how to be homeless. He started telling him to stand on top of the sidewalk grills that have steam coming out of them, and it was freezing. the dude wanted money for coffee to sit in the mcdonalds. Then he started asking him if he had a plan. The dude said they were building a homeless shelter there, and he started motivational speaking yelling at him that that wasn't a plan. Do you think the homeless want you telling them how to live and what to do, and do you really know? You're plan is that there should be enough homeless that you have to tell them what to do or the government has to tell them what to do.
They don't really want people to be able to do anything about drugs, or homelessness. the government will intentionally inundate you with problems until they have to tell you what to do so that they can be perceived as a savior. The 2 party system is bull crap. it's become a religion of conservative vs liberal that mimics good vs evil. That's not how you play Sim City. It's not fucking batman. You're not commissioner Gordon. The homeless are probably more conservative than the politicians and that's why they don't listen because they smoked crack with them.
They're doing this and then they play that they're going to save you with force. But then the liberals also pretend to protect gay people or drug addicts with force like with gun control or police brutality. The government is always trying to hit people on all side. It's shit. That's what makes religious philosophy better. The government wants individuals to be chickenshits. the government and banks are always innately communist. When you go for a loan or crap like they're trying to trick you. The government does the same thing. they're trying to repress innate common sense. They're trying to sell you something stupid so that they can pretend to save you later or that you're stupid. It's like if a teacher tests you after teaching incorrectly.
