Get Stern on the pod
Rogan, knowing his stuff, is trying to educate the other guy. The other guy is working his butt off to start a Howard vs Podcast feud.
In radio, unlike Satellite and Podcasting, you are shut down on day two if you're not getting ratings. Stern is all about wanting to see the proof that you're good, proof that you can get ratings. A few podcasts, a few satellite radio shows, have developed an audience that would be good ratings in an old school radio context. But the vast majority of those shows would never get ratings. They have a group that listens, but they wouldn't achieve good ratings. And in that context, Stern is slow to acknowledge random shows as "good".
