Picking up where we left off in our Genesis study, covering the events of Genesis 12 as told from the Targum and the book of Jasher (chapters 10 – 12). Once again, we are told the story of Abram destroying his father’s idols and then being thrown into a fiery furnace by Nimrod.

Each part is just under two hours long but very interesting stuff and something worth considering. The link I’m sending is for part one. I also recommend checking out the remaining three parts too. I’ve seen them all and this is an excellent presentation that theorizes what potentially happened on earth in the past.
As scripture tells us there were giants on the earth in those days and afterward. We know that the world was corrupt as in the days of Noah. This theory could explain what happened at some judgement point in the past, maybe not the great deluge of Noah’s time but some other judgement that we aren’t aware of. Keep in mind that scripture has been removed from the Bible at different points in history. Could this part of history have been removed? With God anything is possible and the truth always presents itself. God bless you!

Irenaeus has several errors and misinterpretations in his theology! The church fathers are not infallible. They were sometimes misinformed by errant traditions and often given over to weird understandings due to their greco-roman culture.
And the Devil was released but for a short season to deceive the nations once again. We should not dismiss the fact that the first followers very clearly had reason to expect the second coming within their lifetime exactly as Jesus told us. When looking at the mountains that have melted like wax all across the face of this place coupled with the clear manipulation of our chronology and evidence of multiple civilization level cataclysms since the middle ages alone, it's not difficult to lend credibility to this opinion.
The name Jesus in the ancient Greek also adds up to 666
