  1. Just so everyone knows the Preterist explanation of Irenaeus' quote, there is a large debate regarding the translation of Irenaeus. The Greek can be translated two ways, making Irenaeus' claim of what was "seen in the time of Domitian" referring to John himself, not that John saw the vision (Revelation) in the time of Domitian. Irenaeus' statement could be understood as – John, who saw the vision (Revelation), was himself seen during the time of Domitian. Rob didn't seem to understand or explain the preterist position on Irenaeus, and since later church writers use Irenaeus as their source, it really is important to know what Irenaeus was actually saying.

  2. FYI: It is a non sequitur to conclude that large things must have been built for and by large people. Also, when Rob states it was build by "giants" what does he mean that by subjective and undefined term?

  3. 1:45:53. I'm really hopeful that Tim Alberino will eventually be willing to come back into dialog with you guys. He's doing great work and it's just so frustrating and unfortunate that the mere topic of biblical cosmology would result in a total and complete break in communion. In his defence, he seems to believe that the whole topic of biblical cosmology may be an intentional deception, so it's understandable that he would not want to encourage anyone to consider those who are exploring it.
