Picking up where we left off in our Genesis study, covering the events of Genesis 12 as told from the Targum and the book of Jasher (chapters 10 – 12). Once again, we are told the story of Abram destroying his father’s idols and then being thrown into a fiery furnace by Nimrod.

Rob & Zen. This information about Jesus living to the age of 50 stunned me because just this morning I prayed before reading the Word and asked God to teach me something. But what I read was Numbers 4. So I really didn't think I learned anything. Then I hear this recording today. Let me send you the text that I read this morning. The Lord REPEATEDLY named the age of the Priesthood! 50 was the age limit!!!
All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers, From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation, Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore. According to the commandment of the Lord they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the Lord commanded Moses.

The chain represents bondage and death in this world of darkness.
