  1. NO!!! The Hades and Gehenna that Christ spoke of did NOT originate with him. Hades and Gehenna were Greek-modified views of the afterlife adopted by Jews during the intertestamental period (1 Enoch; Judith; c.200-100 BC). Christ could not have meant that Hades and Gehenna were real, because he would be denying the Old Testament view of death (cessation of life) and embrace the Hades/Gehenna of the Apocryphal books.

  2. Lies, lies, lies. The very first quote, "The fire never goes out", Jesus was referring to Ghenna, a place just outside of Jerusalem where there use to be baby sacrafices, and the Jews at the time of Jesus used it as a dump, and the fire there, never went out, for generations and generations, so the Jews always said about that valley, it was a place where the fire never goes out.
    These people are misleading you. Paul never talked about hell. The current concept didnt even exist in the first 300 years of the church.
