What's the name of the book?
All of this was in my opinion to stop the peace and love movement, hippies. Meant to get Americans to accept the government narrative, which included war for America for years. A way of controlling a large portion of citizens in a country. Manson was a major distraction for a much bigger story. MK Ultra experienced by prisoners created many other violent occurrences over the years since. Perhaps still happening.
