I can't prove it, but I suspect my cousin was a victim of Midnight Climax in the 70s. He was a brilliant, gregarious, extrovert. Eagle scout. Valedictorian of his high school class. Super, super smart. Razor sharp memory. From what I understand, he was the type of person that would just go to class, not have to take any notes, and he'd just remember everything for the quizzes and tests. Somehow he became involved in drugs in college, and it totally changed his personality, and his life trajectory. I can't prove it, but I suspect he got roped into one of these stupid experiments in college. He somehow managed to graduate with an MBA, but was relegated to jobs like substitute teacher most of his adult life. The last job he worked before he died a couple of years ago was as a grocery store bagger. What a waste. So many people from that time period had their lives destroyed either in Vietnam, or by drugs. I hope our government learned something from it.
